April's theme is 'Ember' with Aylin Sezer

Speaker promotional banner

Ready to hit the high notes this month? Meet this month's speaker, Aylin Sezer! Born in Istanbul to a Turkish father and a Dutch mother, soprano vocalist Aylin Sezer carries a rich cultural duality into her performances. She moved to the Netherlands to pursue her conservatory training and has since become a fixture of the Dutch arts scene. While deeply rooted in classical technique, Aylin thrives on the power of communication; she loves exploring the boundaries where different musical genres and stage arts meet to tell a compelling story.

Would you like to be our next speaker?

On March 13th, we're having our first ever 'Audience takes the stage'. This event is a bit different from the usual because we'll have THREE speakers on stage.

The best part? You can be one of them! We would like to give the mic to our audience. We are looking for speakers that inspire, educate, or otherwise wow the community.

If you feel like this is something for you, and you have an inspiring story or reflection on March's theme 'LOCAL', sign up!

The event is on March 13th and you can sign up to be a speaker until February 28th.

Hey there! Welcome to CreativeMornings The Hague

Now that our chapter has been officially licensed, our team is excited to bring the vision we share to life. We want to build a vibrant, inclusive and inspiring creative community right here in The Hague! Our team of volunteers made a video as part of our application to start a CreativeMornings chapter in The Hague. If you’re curious to see it, click here to watch.

Our vision

CreativeMornings The Hague will be a community that welcomes everyone and inspires people to pursue a life filled with creativity.

The Hague is often overlooked when it comes to creativity, being often compared to other bigger cities in the Netherlands. But don’t let the small-city feel and diplomatic reputation fool you. Behind its traditional façades and calm streets, The Hague bursts with creativity and energy. CreativeMornings is here to bring together the people who contribute to that energy.

Imagine a space where everyone proudly says, “I am a creative person”. It doesn’t matter where you come from or what your job title is. Everyone is welcome to show up as their true, inspired selves. This is what this community is about.

As our manifesto says, being creative requires bravery, action, honesty, and hard work. If this feels like you and that you want to embrace a more creative life and create meaningful connections, come and join us!

A bit about the host

Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, I grew up being curious and energetic, often speaking too much (according to my big sister). I always wanted to learn more, to understand this world that we live in. I work in visual design and illustration, career in which I now have been working on for more than five years. I love my craft and I focus mostly on designing for non-profit organisations and small/local business. You will also find me playing roller derby and hiking on weekends.

When I first moved to Europe, I felt isolated and craved real connections. Amidst that sense of loss and confusion, I found CreativeMornings. At first, I didn’t understand why it was free or why people would wake up early just to chat, listen to a speaker, and meet strangers. But within minutes, I could feel the energy in the room and I knew I wanted to be a part of that.

Now that I live in The Hague, a city that didn’t yet have a chapter, I made the only logical decision: to build a CreativeMornings community here.

I believe in the power of creativity and how the sense of belonging to a community can change a person and inspire them. I hope to contribute to this city by creating a space where people feel inspired, connected, and at home.

A bit about the team

Every CreativeMornings event is free and powered by an amazing team of volunteers.
