Drumroll…..WE ARE BACK IRL!!

It was incredible to have our first in-person event in two years. Emile Rademeyer from Vandal spoke on the theme “Monumental”. And his talk was just that! Thanks so much Emile.

Thanks to everyone who came along. It was beautiful to see our community connect again after so long.

This month we had the incredible Isaiah Dawe from ID Know Yourself join us to talk on the theme “Roots”. Isaiah shared his story of growing up as an Aboriginal child in foster care. He also talked about his life changing experience of discovering his roots and going back to country as an adult and experiencing the dance, music and culture of his family for the first time.

After three years we finally said goodbye to this incredible Workshop venue. We went out with a bang and Jo Roca’s talk was phenomenal! She spoke about being lost and took us on a tour of  “The Island of Lost” during her talk. 

This month Comedian turned Innovator, Rich Brophy spoke on the global CreativeMornings theme, “Flow”.

This month we changed things up! Our Host Nicole Velik from The Ideas Bodega ran a workshop to ignite your inner creativity and come face-to-face with your own muse. The audience got creative, solved some juicy challenges and learned some new creative thinking techniques.

This month David Ohana spoke on the theme “Justice”. He shared his incredible journey from working in advertising in Sydney to working for the United Nations and UNICEF in New York. Dave talked about how times have changed and how people working in corporations can use their power and influence to fight for justice and create a positive change in the world. This work is not just up to NGO’s anymore.
