John Onwuchekwa loves coffee. But never felt like he belonged whenever he walked into a coffee shop. As he nerded out on how coffee is produced, John realized that geography and economic injustice are bound to racial inequality.

So, he vowed to pour a new narrative of representation—by opening his own coffee shop.
