This July, we joined in on RVAâs first tech week. Matt Johnson, trained mathematician, former frontman of a punk rock band, Pentagon policymaker, and nonfiction author, left us with hope for change.Â

In partnership with Buskey Cider, CreativeMornings RVA is hosting a happy hour to raise money for the Womenâs Monument coming to our fair city. An initiative of the 2019 Commemoration, the planned Womenâs Monument will honor the significant role of women over 400 years of Virginia history and entrepreneurship as well as their impact upon the nation as a whole. As part of the event, weâre also creating a place for folks to write to their representatives and ask that they support the arts. This April, we aimed high and far. Rupa Singh of Love This shared her journey of going beyond the product to see the story it tells. She challenged us to make ethical shopping choices by placing value on the design of a product as well as the social, environmental, + economic impact it has.Â
