A home created by bringing together layers of memories from the owners' childhoods and travels.
Designed to adapt over time, each space enables multiple uses, borrowing from one another to become a calm and relaxing retreat from busy work lives. Entering into a private world through a vine-covered screen, the protected external stairs draw you down through a lush plant-filled void. Doors are detailed to disappear. Are you inside or outside? The floor and ledge sit slightly below garden level in a breezy, cool under-croft. Bedrooms sit above sitting adjacent a void connecting the two levels enabling chatter and activity.
