Hey all, I'm Rick! I'm an intersectional feminist illustrator, artist and researcher based in Lincoln, East Midlands, UK.
My work looks at material culture, identity and collective liberation, working across media in traditional and digital techniques with a particular love for printmaking, colour and texture.
Soon-to-be starting my practice-based PhD in Fine Art at University of Lincoln, I run the artist-led studio The Bestiary with my partners here in the heart of the city, as well as selling my art as Rickwood Illustration and running my zine distro-library Spectrumony.
I have over 10 years of experience working in small art & craft businesses, and graduated with Distinction and First Class Honours on my MA Design (Illustration) and BA Illustration respectively both from Sheffield Hallam University.
