I truly believe that everyone is creative. I'm lucky to put that belief to work every day: I get to lead an amazing nonprofit organization, Arts For Life, that puts arts education into the hands (and hearts and minds) of pediatric patients and their families as they navigate their way through life in treatment for serious diseases and health conditions. The World's Best People are involved with Arts For Life, so I pinch myself every day. When I'm not at the office, I like to get outside and move around (biking or running), explore the inspiring art and awesome food that Asheville has to offer, and read (got a recommendation?). I'm always on the lookout for a good hobby; my latest are making popsicles and putting jigsaw puzzles together.

When one door closes, another opens. Or you can open the closed door - that's how doors work.

My parents. They both have this uncanny ability to be able to really talk to anyone - stranger or friend. That, and they raised three girls [eyes bugged out emoji].

I can sleep through a hurricane.

Old-timey sign painter. Or CIA field agent.
