Sara Dittrich is an interdisciplinary sculpture artist who was raised by a speech therapist and clinical counselor in the suburbs of the mid-western swing state of Cincinnati, Ohio. Born with a fraternal twin sister, Dittrich has been hyper-aware of dichotomies and methods of communication her entire life. She has sought through her work to create introspective environments that spark empathy and connectedness through the use of musical performance and interactive electronic technologies. Upon moving to Baltimore City in 2010 to pursue her BFA at the Maryland Institute College of Art, her new home deepened her interest in bias perceptions, paring down perspectives into minimalist artworks focused on the unconscious rhythms of the body created by heartbeats, footsteps, and breaths.

Sara hasn't saved anything yet.
