Colby Cobb is a 22-year-old pop singer-songwriter whose music blends emotional honesty with melodic depth. With four releases (Make Believe, Sober, Starting Over, and Fault Line) available across all major streaming platforms, Colby writes using reflexive storytelling and haunting melodies to explore vulnerability, growth, and connection.
Born in Houston, Texas, and shaped by time spent in over eight states, Colby brings a wide emotional lens to his songwriting. A recent graduate of Baylor University, he crafts songs that resonate with both introspection and immediacy.
Colby’s performances span intimate venues and larger stages alike, including NBC’s The Voice, Sofar Sounds (Austin, TX & Louisville, KY), SoberFest (Houston, TX), The Listening Room (Nashville, TN & Pigeon Forge, TN), and collaborative art exhibitions in Louisville, Kentucky — each deepening his connection with audiences through story and song.

Jared Howell is a Louisville-based magician and mentalist whose work centers on curiosity, wonder, and human connection. Through mind reading and interactive performance, he creates experiences that invite audiences to slow down, lean in, and rediscover a sense of mystery.
Beyond the stage, Jared is interested in why people are drawn to the unknown and how mystery shapes creativity, belief, and meaning. His work lives in the space between skepticism and wonder, using magic as a way to ask better questions rather than provide answers. He also hosts the podcast Learning to Be Liminal, where he documents his ongoing exploration of the paranormal.

Join us for a special evening edition of CreativeMornings, inspired by January’s global theme, Korsoo — “A Faint Glimmer of Hope.”
We’ll gather at Mashup in the back gallery! Feel free to arrive early to grab dinner and drinks at the cash bar. We’ll have some light snacks once the doors open.
This will be a non-traditional CreativeMornings experience — not a standard morning talk, but a variety-style evening of creative expression, performance, and shared presence.
Come curious. Come open. Come as you are.
Sometimes hope doesn’t arrive loud or fully formed. We’re excited to see you!
