About the speaker

Alycia Anderson is currently a VP of Sales for an award winning technology company who tailors to the multifamily real estate industry. Born with sacral agenesis and wheelchair-bound since birth, Alycia is on a mission to motivate people through the power of diversity and inclusion. She has achieved her Bachelors Degree from California State University Chico in Kinesiology and Exercise Science focusing on Adapted Education. She continued on to obtain her European Masters Degree from KU Leuven, Belgium in Adapted Physical Activity emphasizing the benefits, practices and principles of inclusion. During her studies in Europe she interned with the International Paralympic Educational Committee developing a global program for youth about inclusion. She also published a children’s story portraying dragons with disabilities that was included in the curriculum. She now partners with Dr Kerri Vanderbom on an inclusion-consulting project that will offer expertise to corporations on how to successfully create an inclusive working environment and she also free-lances when she has the opportunity as a sought-after motivational speaker. She inspires people around the world to achieve full potential and is passionate about helping people and organizations understand the real bottom-line benefits inherent in a diverse and inclusive society.
