Additional details
To dare is an act of faith. We work up the nerve to make the soaring leap, even when we don’t know what the outcome will be. At the core of daring, you’ll find bravery and defiance entwined. We dare to challenge the stories passed down to us that no longer fit, the stories that limit our imagination.
This event will be an interactive workshop. For optimal experience, you’ll join an extended breakout room for some creative thinking and connection. (Your camera can be off- but engagement will be where the magic is!)
This month is all about YOU
What is that one thing you want to do? Does it makes you nervous? Let’s DARE ourselves to take some steps. Dares can be scary (cue your 14 year-old self playing Truth & Dare), but in this workshop we’ll create a safe place to be vulnerable and receive supportive nudges.
We’re inviting Ann Blocker, facilitator extraordinaire, to lead us through a workshop where you will in small groups to think through your dare.
Ann Blocker
Ann Blocker is a consultant, facilitator and (sometimes) COO who got her start at Accenture and in Silicon Valley start-ups. Through her consulting firm, Coddi Advisors, Ann specializes in strategy and operations scaling for small and medium-sized companies. She helps her clients focus on the important work—taking care of customers and employees—and uses small-scale tech to keep business operations humming. In 2019, Ann co-founded Robotters, a start-up creating a (now-virtual) play-space that makes robots accessible for the adults and kids who love them.
One more thing we love about Ann? She is a long-time organizer with CreativeMornings/Austin.
