About the speaker

Ann Youmans made a resolution to finally work up some biographical statements, and here we are manifesting. She edits copy at the ad agency Woodruff (woo hoo WFH), writes in multiple genres, knits, and is now learning to spin, draw, and paint (woo hoo kids graduating). She has lived in Columbia for a long time, gone to a lot of its schools, and worked at a lot of its nonprofits as a volunteer, hourly, or freelancer (the library, We Always Swing, True/False among others). She’s been digging the selections at Skylark’s book clubs and exploring the streets with her first dog, a shiba named Kobe.
