About the speaker

Samuel Polidor Accius is a young leader with 11 years in community development. In 2014, he got a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering at Quisqueya University. Samuel is passionate about making an impact. He is the founder of World Merit Haiti, a network of young students and professionals that are working to promote youth leadership; to educate, to mobilize young people to tackle the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the development of youth policies in Haiti

Samuel likes to give back by putting his creativity and engineering skills into the service of his community. He has helped more than 20 youth-led initiatives and startups in Haiti by providing his skills in planning, filmmaking, and graphic design. Currently, he is helping to define better digital strategies for Konbit Bibliyotèk Site Solèy (KBSS), a community-led and transparent project that aims to build a modern, community-supported library in Cite Soleil.

Samuel is also an Ambassador for Haiti Tech Summit, the largest tech summit in the Caribbean Region. He is part of the HELP Alumni Initiative (HAI) committee that collected in three months $40,000 USD to send 3 students to universities in a country where only 1% of the bachelors can access this level.

Samuel is the Founder and Creative Director of SPATTITUDE, a digital marketing agency that is helping established businesses, startups, and social ventures to increase their impact through Storytelling and Marketing. Through SPATTITUDE, he is creating an inclusive brand and producing creative online content to educate entrepreneurs and motivate young people to achieve their goals.
