About the speaker

Aulon Naçi was born in Vlora, Albania.
He started studying piano at the age of 10.
Moving to Italy in 2002 he joined the composition class under the guidance of Prof. Renato Miani at the "J. Tomadini" Conservatory of Music in Udine, and graduated with honors.
His discography consists of several collaborations and publications, and his music continues to be performed in various countries.
In 2017 he was selected as a jury member at the final of the Eurovision Song Contest which took place in Kiev, Ukraine.
In 2017 he participated as invited artist in the Biennale "Paralel Projects as part of the Mediterranean 18 young Artist" in Tirana, in a project of BJCEM and at the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Albania.
One of the most important concerts was the recital concert at the "Megaron" theater in Athens, November 2021, under the patronage of the Albanian Embassy in Greece, , with the diplomatic representation.
In 2022 he was chosen as a member of the jury of the Eurosong Contest held in Italy, in Turin. In November 2022 he obtained the "Distinguished citizen” award presented by the Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama. He currently teaches Composition, Music notation in the 20th century, Counterpoint and Harmony at the University of Arts in Tirana (Albania). And he was also elected Councilor for Culture for the City of Vlora, currently present since 2015.
He is the artistic director of the relevant cultural events organized by the Municipality of Vlora and by the Consulate General of Italy in Vlora.
