Bidyut Dumra

With qualifications in 2D/3D still graphics and animation, Bidyut, started his creative career producing TV shows in India and eventually progressed to making full-feature Bollywood films (such as, 'Salaam Namaste', 'Chak De India', 'Bachna Eh Haseeno'). On furthering his education in Business he eventually co-founded and partnered a number of diverse ventures including a film distribution & production company, an international film festival, a boutique I.T. consultancy, an arts program, retail lifestyle products and a baby clothes line.

In parallel to his entrepreneurial interests he has also worked within large multinationals through Asia-Pacific on both discovery and delivery of technology solutions from back-end ERP systems to customer facing digital channels. It is this diversity in experience, entrepreneurial instinct and evangelistic passion for agility and design that led him to Cathay Pacific where he is heading the Innovation Centre; a newly formed function tasked to solution the future of travel.
