What do I mean when I say undesign? It means deeply understanding how we got to a particular design, and deliberately thinking about what we need to forget… what we need to stop… what we need to untangle, so that we can design something in a new and better way. Boldly give yourself permission to explore that space of undesigning and undoing. You’re going to step on many toes. Seek allies and peers inside and outside your organization who are trying to do the same”. Here is a great quote by Adam Grant: “It takes curiosity to learn. It takes courage to unlearn. Learning is how you evolve. Unlearning is how you keep up as the world evolves.
