About the speaker
Chioma Brown is the creator and blogger behind the fashion and lifestyle community Chioma Brown, formerly, C’s Evolution of Style. She has always loved all things style and fashion related, and with a mission to showcase colorfully bold and unique fashion when she didn’t see herself represented in the media, in 2011, her blog was born.
Since the genesis of her blog, she has had countless opportunities to network with some amazing creatives both locally and nationally, and the privilege of partnering in campaigns with household and local brands such as: Toyota, Roku, Target, Dove, HP, Zappos, DSW, Kohl’s, Shake Shack, Foot Locker Women, Crest, Gordmans, Ava Grace Vineyards, Athleta, Converse, Warby Parker, Homemade Simple, Visit Cincinnati, and more.
What started as a way for her to simply share her personal style ideas and develop a working closet quickly turned into a growing and thoughtful community for women, primarily black women, who share a passion for a colorful lifestyle, plants, sneakers, mental health, self-care, and social justice.
Chioma Brown lives in Lexington, KY with her college sweetheart and husband Jonah Brown and their dog, Polo.
