How his story shaped his style.
About the speaker
Clark Orr, the curious son of a Florida sign painter, never thought he'd grow up to follow a similar path as his father. That is until he discovered skateboarding, comic books, and punk rock. With those unique graphic-heavy influences permanently engrained in his mind, Clark ventured into the world of digital art and design. For over a decade, Clark worked as senior designer behind indie t-shirt brand pioneer Johnny Cupcakes, and is also often cited as one of the "Street Wear Industry's secret weapons", with his work for The Hundreds, Benny Gold, Nike, Rebel8, and countless others. Clark currently runs a one-man design and illustration shop, focusing on branding, package design, silk screen posters, and illustration for agencies, brands, and galleries across the world.
