About the speaker

Madhav is a Mumbai-based illustrator and type designer. By practice, he has focused on identity design for brands and events, publication design, custom lettering, as well as self-published zines and comics — working with renowned individuals and organisations such as Hanumankind, Martin Garrix, Bhavya Ramesh, Absolut, JSW Foundation, Goethe-Institut, Optikal Asylum, Museum of Solutions, and AMNAP Records.

Most of his illustration work is published under the pseudonym 'deadtheduck’, while undertaking custom font design, logo design, and lettering projects as 'okratype'.

Alongside designing for music-adjacent projects like festivals, conferences, gig posters, album covers and merchandising, Madhav has conducted workshops around drawing, comix-making, and self-publishing.

Priyanka Itadkar is the co-founder of The Act of Quad, a Mumbai-based design studio she established with her best friend, Falguni Bhatia. Rooted in architecture, interiors, and art, the practice brings a narrative-driven, playful, and experimental spirit to its work.

Through a free-thinking lens, Priyanka and her team craft objects and environments that make everyday life a little less ordinary. Recently, the studio was recognised internationally as a nominee for Dezeen’s Interior Designers of the Year.

Siddhartha Menon is a copywriter by trade with most of his career spent in advertising and branding. After a few years at agencies, he left to start his own agency. After a most unsuccessful time making brands he didn't like for people he didn't like, Ihe decided to call it quits. Which is when he met Laurien, the founder of Tiny Miracles, at what was an inflexion point for the company as well as for Sid. He is currently the Head of Mission at Tiny Miracles, which is another way of saying he helps lead sometimes strange and sometimes wonderful attempts at closing the gap between those who have nothing and those who have everything. The Tiny Cane Collective is their most recent, most exciting new venture.
