I believe you can grow fast, hold your values, and keep your people whole — at the same time. That’s not an aspiration. It’s what I’ve spent 20+ years proving.

I’m a strategic, visionary leader who helps organizations at inflection points transform, scale, and reimagine what’s possible — without sacrificing their people or their principles to get there. The cultures I build are ones where staff stay, funders invest, and communities trust.

About this FieldTrip

In a chaotic world, there’s something deeply compelling about people who clearly live what they stand for.

Participants will uncover their unique core values and explore how living them can guide decisions, priorities, and inspire trust in others. This FieldTrip includes guided journaling, self-reflection, and a core values inventory to help you find your North Star and develop a process that brings clarity, turns values into action, and inspires trust, connection, and followership in others.

You’ll also leave with three practical exercises to continue refining and living your values beyond the session.

Agenda

  • We'll begin with a brief overview to define core values and why they are important.

  • We'll then pick up our pens for a short journaling reflection that helps set the stage for core value exploration, before working through a core value inventory to find the values that align with our unique selves (and those that don't).

  • Once we've begun to narrow down the core values that serve as our unique "North Star", we'll begin to practice how to apply our values to real, everyday decisions to support living in alignment with our values and inspiring trust and connection with others.

  • Finally, we'll leave with additional exercises that can bring further clarity and definition to our core values.

What to know or bring

  • Yourself, your curiosity, a journal, and a pen.

How to make the most of FieldTrips

The FieldTrips experience is defined not only by what the host has to share, but also by how we show up individually and collectively. The way we show up impacts our capacity to be moved, inspired, and activated.

Show up fully

Get ready to be immersed! Engage with smiles, nods, waves, emojis. Share in the chat. Get cozy. Turn off notifications. Sip your favorite beverage.

Stay curious

Wear your beginner’s hat. Go with the flow. Welcome the stumbles and fumbles. Congratulate yourself for trying. Keep going!

Celebrate your host

Our hosts are members of the CreativeMornings community—just like you! Everyone comes to this with different backgrounds—a lot of our hosts have never done anything like this before! And we love that! Cheer them on when something goes awry and when it goes perfectly.

Support each other

We’re all figuring things out in real time. Celebrate, rather than critique emerging ideas. Cheer each other on as you try new things.  Try “Yes! And…” in conversation.

Not vibing?

It’s 100% okay when a FieldTrip does not resonate with you. Pop out quietly and try another experience later. Fill out the survey with your feedback (no dms to host or chat commentary, please.)
