About the speaker

Morning parties hit different.
CreativeMornings Santa Fe is throwing a party, and you're invited. This month's theme is CREATE, chosen in collaboration with our global partner Adobe because they believe what we believe... that everyone is creative, and that your ideas deserve to exist in the world.
May 29 is also Release Day, the moment when creatives everywhere finally share that thing they've been working on. Learn more and make your pledge.
So we're closing out the month in the best way we know how: together, loud, and full of joy.
Come make things at our creative stations... try your hand at activities such as printmaking, giant fridge magnets, Exquisite Corpse, and more. Write your "Yay Me" proclamation on big paper and put it out into the world. Dance to Saint John spinning tracks while you celebrate the thing you made.
We'll also be celebrating two years of CreativeMornings Santa Fe with cupcakes and all the gratitude we have for this community that keeps showing up.
There will be a short presentation, but mostly? This is a party. Come as you are. Share what you release. Let's celebrate!
Local partners
The Center for Contemporary Arts Santa Fe (CCA) is a community-supported arts center featuring the best in cinema, contemporary chamber music, immersive theater, contemporary art, poetry and more. They offer a year-round schedule of activities and host many events each and every week. Their broad spectrum of artistic offerings, some made possible through the collaboration of several non-profits who make CCA their Santa Fe home.
The City of Santa Fe Economic Development Department supports a thriving local economy by fostering entrepreneurship, supporting businesses, and promoting innovation. Their initiatives help build a vibrant community where creativity and commerce can flourish.
CrashMurderBusiness, our 2026 coffee partner, is a whimsical cafe with a serious passion for community and great coffee. Their name, inspired by a playful chat about animal group names and the community among our animal friends, reflects their mission to create a gathering spot that sparks conversations about everything from ferrets in ties to deeper topics like equity and kindness—all over a perfect cup of coffee.
Additional details
MUSICAL GUEST

Saint John has been curating the musical vibe in Santa Fe and beyond for 25+ years. A DJ, producer, and curator rooted in deep house and electronic music, he is the co-founder of the beloved Tantra Thursdays underground house series and a fixture at iconic Santa Fe venues and events including Meow Wolf, Beats on the Basin, and SantaFe HRA Pride. His sets are known for bringing authenticity, connection, and serious dancefloor energy… whether the crowd is 8 or 800. We couldn’t think of a better person to soundtrack our morning party.
THE VENUE

Each month we meet at The Center for Contemporary Arts (CCA) in the Muñoz-Waxman Gallery space - also the home of CHATTER North - providing a backdrop of alternating, curated artworks. CCA Santa Fe is located just west of Old Pecos Trail, behind the New Mexico Military Museum and Santa Fe Children’s Museum. Free parking is available in multiple lots onsite.
NEED A HAND? Everyone is welcome at our events, and we want it to feel that way! Enter the CCA Munoz-Waxman Gallery via ramp from the upper parking area or level walkway from the lower circle drive. If you need a special accommodation, just let us know prior to the day of the event via email. We can’t provide an ASL at this time, but we can reserve ADA seats right up front if you let us know in advance.
What is the event like? CreativeMornings is about community and inspiration. Come for both! Doors open at 8:30am, and we’ll have coffee, and a light breakfast ready for you. Coffee time is great for meeting the other CreativeMornings attendees. We like giving hugs and high-fives.
