About the speaker
Join us for a morning to CREATE with Fer Sagastume.
Fer is a multidisciplinary designer and artist born in Guatemala and rooted now in Seattle, whose practice moves between graphic design, photography, and collage - treating each as a way of layering history, materiality, and meaning. Her work is shaped by a background in design for social justice and environmental causes, and a deep curiosity about how images carry culture, memory, and connection. She's the Creative Director for PNW Climate Week, a featured artist with Shutter & Light Collective, and her collage work appears in the Art to Hearts 101 Art Book: Collage Edition (2025).
This month, Fer won't just talk about CREATE - she'll help us do it. She'll lead a short hands-on collage workshop, and you'll leave with something you made yourself. No experience needed, just your hands and a willingness to make something.
Come for coffee, community, and a morning of creating together.
