Susan Lefler is an artist and printmaker based in Alexandria. A lifelong artist, she discovered her passion for printmaking through an evening art class in 2021. Originally seeking a way to connect with others in her new community, she found the medium so fulfilling that she eventually left her career in Brand Strategy to pursue the artform full-time. She has been carving blocks and pulling prints ever since. Inspired by intricate patterns and botanical forms, Susan finds joy in the tactile, multi-step nature of her craft. She especially values how the printmaking process allows her to create multiple original works, allowing her art to reach and connect with others.
