Daisy Blue Groff

We are quite excited to host designer, musician, and actor Daisy Blue Groff who will share her compelling story of creativity through the lens of June’s global theme ‘reverie’.

I'm an accomplished Graphic and Digital Designer who specializes in AR/VR, Projection Mapping and Motion Graphics.

I possess over five years of experience working with large corporations and collaboration design agencies.

I'm also a trained musician and actor and a founding member of Painting Daisies, an internationally recognized award-winning all-female band. My current project Lawless Uncommon boasts Grammy and Juno-nominated production and deft slide guitar and songwriting. Lauded for my skills on the basketball court and the theatre, I was scouted by US schools and the renowned BFA acting program at the U of A before deciding to become a rock star.

You may find me lifting sandbags and digging ditches as I will join the Canadian Armed Forces as a Reservist in the Navy (Tucumseh) acting as Musician when required.

I acknowledge that I work and live in Treaty 6 and Treaty 7 territories. Treaty 7 territory which is the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta, which includes the Siksika, the Piikuni, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Stoney Nakoda First Nations, including Chiniki, Bearpaw and Wesley First Nation. The City of Calgary is also home to Métis Nation of Alberta, Region III. Treaty 6 territory is the traditional territories of the Cree, Saulteaux, Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Métis, and Nakota Sioux Peoples. I endeavour to respect and honour the spirit and history of these treaties.
