About the speaker
Dani Maiz is an Illustrator from Bilbao based in Berlin, focus on editorial and advertising.
In his work he aims to explore the never-ending relationship between drawing and narrative in its multiple facets, using vivid colors and geometric shapes.
He has been co-founder of the "Basque Professional Illustrators Association", as well as Board member of the "Spanish Federation of Professional Illustrators Associations" and the "European Illustrators Forum".
He currently combines his work as a freelance illustrator with occasional teaching in different schools and workshops.
