I was separated, and now, I’m reconnecting and learning my roots. For me, the connection point was so strong because Standing Rock was a huge risk for me. I was like, ‘You know, I’m going to leave. I’m going to do this. I’m learning all of this.’ I’m like, ‘This is where I’m supposed to be.
