Ember with Anouk Sukanya

Architecture & Design Museum

part of a series on Ember (em·ber) | Ember

About the speaker

Anouk Sukanya is a multi-passionate, multi-layered human being. Born in Bangkok, Thailand. Raised in several countries in Africa and West Asia and in The Netherlands. Her professional life starts out in the world of advertising and corporate, where she fulfills a career of 15 years as a (qualitative) market researcher & consultant – in Rotterdam and Amsterdam (NL).

After a severe burnout she embarks on a deeply personal and spiritual journey, leading her to flip the script and become an independent yoga teacher & therapist, energy worker, and life coach. It’s Anouk’s yoga path that brings her to Finland for the first time in 2016, where she meets her now-husband Marko. Since November 2017 she is based in Helsinki.

Nowadays she guides the curious and conscious midlife women of our world from her international (online) coaching business Soulfuel Your Life.

For this month’s ‘Ember’ talk Anouk weaves together (parts of) her personal story with a central theme she works with as a midlife coach & mentor: ‘What remains – when the flames die out?’ A talk about reinventing and rediscovering your (creative) self – through all the layers of identity and of life experience.
