About the speaker
Matthew Haynes is the Founder and CEO of The Design Conference (TDC), one of Australia’s leading creative industry events, known for its audience-first approach and uncompromising editorial integrity.
Over the past 15 years, he has shaped TDC into a platform that prioritises substance over hype—bringing together designers, creatives, and industry leaders to engage with ideas that challenge, inform, and drive real-world impact. His work focuses on building meaningful connections between creativity and commercial outcomes, ensuring both attendees and partners gain lasting value.
Through a continued focus on content, partnerships, and technology, Matthew is expanding TDC beyond the stage into a global platform for the next generation of creative leaders.
