A conversation with Farnoosh Torabi on fear, money, and finding a glimmer of hope even when things feel uncertain.

What does “a glimmer of hope” really look like when life feels financially, professionally, or emotionally overwhelming? In this CreativeMornings Montclair conversation, bestselling author, financial expert, and So Money podcast host Farnoosh Torabi explores the January theme Koorsoo, a Farsi word meaning “glimmer of hope.” Drawing from her own journey, from being $30,000 in debt at 22 to becoming one of America’s most trusted voices on money, Farnoosh shares a refreshingly honest perspective on fear, uncertainty, and growth. Together, we unpack the emotional side of money, the surprising power of fear, and how hope often shows up not as a grand breakthrough, but as small, steady progress. Farnoosh also reflects on identity, ambition, reinvention, and staying optimistic while navigating real-world challenges, both personal and communal. This is a conversation about resilience, mindset, and redefining what it means to live a rich and meaningful life.
