Gatheround with Creative Mornings Atlanta

Join your Creative Mornings Atlanta team for 2021’s last event where we are inviting you to try something new with us! Instead of Zoom or YouTube we will be trying new virtual platform, Gatheround. A special feeling is possible when a community gathers and we can see each others faces—it lights us up and leaves us glowing. Gatheround is a team bonding and community engagement platform for people-focused organizations seeking to build relationships and strengthen teams in an era of disconnection and distraction. Unlike Zoom, Gatheround is designed for how humans actually connect and invites us to have that same feeling even when we’re far apart.

The theme is “Liminal: Navigating the In-between.” We’ve all experienced that time or phase; It’s the ambiguity that occurs in the middle stage of a rite of passage: Adolescence to adulthood or graduation to full-time employment. Although that time can be filled with uncertainty, it’s also ripe for invention, experimentation and discovery.

Today, we will look back to rites of passage from our earlier years and consider how the liminal impacts the creative process; what we stand to gain by going on the journey.
