Mariateresa Crosta

Mariateresa Crosta is a permanent researcher of the National Institute of AstroPhysics (INAF) at the Astrophysical Observatory of Turin. Her main research field is the study of the theory of measurements in General Relativity applied to astrophysics, verifications of such a theory, fundamental physics tests in space and cosmology, as well as space-time navigation. She is also engaged in the Gaia space mission of the European Space Agency (ESA), whose main task is to construct a three-dimensional relativistic map of the Galaxy in which we live. Dr Crosta has created the international initiative "The Time Machine Factory" togheter with INRiM, the Department of Mathematics (University of Turin), the Politecnico, and SIGRAV (Italian Society of Gravitation).
