Home with Gwen Neo

Gwen moved around a fair bit growing up, and as a result, she often wondered where home is for her. Until she realised that home isn't something you find, but something you create.

As an award-winning journalist and a former editor at Time Out Singapore, Gwen gives voice to faces and places around the world. As an arts manager, she champions the local theatre community by raising funds and awareness. As a marketer, she helps make brands relevant in their respective regions. And as the current Chief Growth Officer of a tech start up, she's working with her team to develop a lifestyle app that empowers people to make more informed decisions. In her spare time, she loves exploring neighbourhoods around Singapore with the @walkies.sg community she founded.

All these adventures have taught her an important lesson: home isn't about "where" it is, but "what" and "who" is in it – and that's something we all have the power to shape for ourselves.
