About the speaker
Kiu Coates is an IFS and Compassionate Inquiry (Gabor Maté Approach) practitioner. His work, rooted in 22 years of personal development training and Nonviolent Communication, supports individuals, couples, teams and leaders to improve communication and strengthen intimate relationships.
ABOUT HIS TALK
This is an invitation to heal through difficulties in communication with your intimate other. Whether you want to nourish a current relationship or prepare for a future one, this interactive presentation will help you overcome the classic "Hot & Cold" dynamic that drives 95% of arguments.
As he describes it, "communication is the digestive system of a relationship." Kiu will teach us to recognize negative communication patterns, address their cause, and transform any argument — through vulnerability and compassion —into an opportunity to soften and connect. In this way, we can healthily digest and assimilate what's been transmitted.

Anomaly, located in Santos, Lisbon, offers uniquely-curated timeless vintage classics, secondhand clothing and accessories for women and men. Store owner and personal stylist, Joana Matos, styled Laurine and provided the clothing for this month’s event.
