Textile Linker is a cooperative initiative exploring Vietnamese textile heritage. Started in 2017 by Nguyen Huyen, we work closely with artisans to organize textile workshops and tours, provide textile sourcing services and encourage collaborative projects in the craft and design sector. By working with Sam Thi Tinh, a Thai ethnic artisan, we host natural dye, embroidery and weaving workshops in Hanoi. And we also organize an ikat weaving tour to meet her mother Sam Thi Bich, leader of Hoa Tien village cooperative, to learn the natural dye and ikat weaving technique of her hometown in Nghe An province.
