About the speaker
Originally from Mobile, Alabama; Jordan Hayles is a country girl with a global spirit who loves to talk to humans (most days). She is a storyteller, inventor and  multi-disciplinary intellectual-artist with a teacherâs heart. She  lives in San Diego, California where she shares a patio with her neighborâs loving, cantankerous pet, Max the Cat. She works as a thought partner and speaker to bring intellectual- creativity & visionary art into conferences & cultural projects.
Her speaking and ideas practice is dedicated to prioritizing the deeply human while  curating the thinking, voices and contributions of individuals and institutions in the practice of creating vibrant futures.
She is dedicated to spreading ideas & inspiring change globally as well as working to collectively  build forward-thinking/acting cultures. She  recently launched an edufutures foundation, The Jordan Scholar, dedicated to building an alternative education universe.
Jordan has given talks and hosted conferences dedicated to illuminating whatâs now and whatâs next such as: Designing Parks for People 101 & Younger, Taking Over The Feminine Hygiene Aisle, The Through Line Conference by Black Earth United & many more. She has worked as a thinking/conversation partner and host  with Built Oregon &  Portland Parks Foundation.  She has also worked with the Festival of Urgent Reinventions and Instrument. She is the Dance Ambassador for Creative Mornings San Diego.
Jordan also hosts Ideas World: a collaborative space for the unabashed love of ideas by imaginative adults across disciplines. The companion space, Ideas World Kids, does the same for the humans that have recently arrived on earth.
