About the speaker
Dr. Joshua Yumibe is associate professor and director of the Film Studies Program at Michigan State University. He has authored Moving Color: Early Film, Mass Culture, Modernism (2012) and coauthored Fantasia of Color in Early Cinema (2015). Since December 2017, he has been on research leave and temporarily based in Torino.
