About the speaker
Juhani Mykkänen is a freelance journalist, entrepreneur, business coach and in his own words - a creative.
His latest project is Koodi2016, a guide book and a first aid kit website about coding for teachers and children. Juhani Mykkänen’s co-author for the book was Linda Liukas.
“Little girls don’t know they’re not supposed to like computers” –Linda Liukas, Juhani’s co-author
The two of them preach about the importance of coding in the future and remind us that it is vital to get girls into it too. The topic is hot as coding has been accepted in the official curriculum of basic education in Finland starting in 2016.
“I wish I had discovered coding earlier“ - Juhani Mykkänen
