About the speaker

Prince & Warren Meko known as the “Meko twins” are Multidisciplinary artists. Founders of brand MADONSELA, Co – Founders of KASI VOGUE, Creative Directors of 68 Madonsela “LERATO LA STUPU” Costume Designers and Stylists. The Katlehong born brothers pride themselves as narrative Artists as seen in their work. Passionate about community upliftment and using their platform to inspire others, makes them a creative force to be reckoned with. They come with a different view of Modern African punk incorporated into their high end leather aesthetic.

They are fuelled by the expression of township empowerment and use their work to navigate through all the environmental barriers they have come across during their early stages. Featuring in some editorials for Africa is Now magazine.

This has lead them to be major contributors to the fashion & music industry, having worked with some of the profound local public figures like Lady Du, Moozlie, Shekhniah, Riky Rick, Kwesta, Oskido , Dj Tira , Mafikazolo, Sampa The Great, Sjava to name a few. Also contributing the amapiano sense having styled some Platinum selling records.
