Born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, Zico is a Toronto-based hip-hop and spoken word artist. His inspirations come from all over and he wears them proudly on his sleeve. He writes from a personal and intimate perspective, hoping to create moments of connection, vulnerability, and hopeful solace. In the process, he hopes to contribute, in whatever little way he can, to creating more authentic representation of the cultures that shaped him.
