About the speaker
Kate Pullen is a creative who specialised in lettering and illustrating before joining the frankie Magazine team in 2024 as their Art Director.
With over 10 years’ experience in the industry, Kate’s work has encompassed everything from murals, book covers, physical products, to editorial illustration and packaging design. She’s worked with clients like Sportsgirl, The Washington Post and BONDS, and now heads up the visual side of one of Australia’s favourite printed publications. But no matter the project, you’ll always find Kate’s work to be bright, playful, and full of passion.
Outside of drawing, you’ll probably find Kate listening to an Aussie audiobook; getting lost down a Wiki rabbit hole, fascinated with how everyone in this movie has previously already crossed paths; or sitting in the sun, patting her English staffy Vin.
