Documentary filmmaker Kevin Truong

In a vulnerable talk exploring his family and identity, Kevin brings us from the refugee camp in Kuala Lumpur where he was born to the projects that have shaped his career as photographer and journalist in the U.S. Decades later, Kevin’s found a way to find healing release and celebrate his mother’s lived experience in his first feature length documentary Mai American.
