About this Club
A club all about love! We will start each evening reading a story or essay about love. Then through a guided discussion, we will share our thoughts on the story along with our own, as well as opinions and perspectives on love. Show up with an open mind, and a loving attitude.
Each meetup we will be reading and discussing a different story/essay.
✨WHAT TO EXPECT
✔️ We will start with introductions, then an icebreaker question which will lead into the reading of the night.✔️ We’ll read the essay together out loud (printed copies will also be provided).
✔️ We will then discuss the reading as a group, guided by myself, sharing our own stories, opinions, and perspectives.
🎒WHAT TO KNOW OR BRING
✔️ Along with an open mind and loving attitude, please bring a suggested $10-15 contribution for the final bill (we’ll be sharing snacks at the cafe!) If you can’t contribute, no worries!⏰ CLUB START TIME
We offer a 10-minute “Window of Arrival” time where you can get settled, share snacks, sign in, and chat with one another.👉 For example…If your Club start time is 1:00pm Expect to get things going around 1:10pm.
👉 We offer this flex window because we know folks are coming from many different places around town. With that said, please try your best to arrive before 10 minutes past the start time as the activities will be getting started then!
ABOUT YOUR HOST
I love love! I have always found stories about love fascinating - romance, heartbreak, familial, friendship, all of it. I am passionate about exploring human connections and how we connect and relate to each other. When we openly talk about love, I think that there is so much we can learn about each other and ourselves. And I would LOVE to help facilitate and engage in these conversations.
