Shanika Maria

Shanika Maria is a singer-songwriter, producer and creator currently based in Toronto. 👩‍🎤 Her lyrics are contemplative and introspective. She is influenced by music across genres, borrowing sounds and ideas from country, folk, jazz, classical, world and electronic music. 🎶 She is interested in integrating new styles and ways of creating into her practice.Shanika released her debut EP ‘Childish Games’. The five-track folk album, had minimal production focusing on Shanika’s vocals and guitar. ‘Subtle Uncertainties’ is Shanika's full length album that navigates the bizarre complexities of life through a constant search for truth and understanding.
