And how historically do we deal with this "why" question? We alienate ourselves. We live in a society full of models of success ... if on the one hand these models give us a security, a reference to what it takes to be successful, on the other hand they make us hostage.

We live in a society where pain is legitimized, not pleasure.

We're a pleasure machine ... or a pain machine.

We are pure mystery, of delight, of pleasure.
