About the speaker
Mitzi Moore is a retired teacher, having worked for 34 years in public schools teaching science and technology (most recently, Digital Media). She knew it was time to retire when her day job started interfering with her real life. Now she spends her time with her handsome husband, their three grown children, and four young grandchildren. In her first year of retirement, she helped plan her daughter's wedding, remodeled a kitchen, took several art classes, managed multiple social media accounts for different organizations, learned MailChimp to publish her church's weekly newsletter, bought a State Parks pass, and helped local artists get over $20k in grants! To satisfy her urge to teach, she started a TikTok account called San Antonio Spots that only posts about free things to do in SA. You can follow her adventures on Instagram @mitzibitsyspider.
