About the speaker

Natasha Mott, Ph.D., holds a doctorate in Cell Biology, Neurobiology, and Anatomy from Loyola University Chicago. She produces multimedia commentary at the intersection of science, culture, and philosophy, and serves as a scientific liaison in the biotech industry.
Her more fun bio on Substack reads: "Ex-academic, seller of science, TikTok Philosopher of sorts. More things than a curriculum vitae can demonstrate.
Depending on the day I might be a scholar, a start-up founder, a meme-r, a world builder, a podcaster, a creator, an organizer, a friend, a mother, a writer, an educator, a skater and usually some Cronenberg combination of a few.

Her recent creative endeavors include a 2026 Philosophy Berk Clerb (she reads every day on TikTok LIVE), writing secret manifestos, making videos. To do all of these things, she takes time every month to reflect on her endeavors and make space for creative rabbit holes.

Additional details

This event will be part talk, part workshop, as we reflect on how we’ve spent our time this year (so far). In thinking about time spent, if you would like to bring any journals, planners, or other materials that would help you catalog what you did this month, please do! We will have some room to spread out on tables to work.
