Chaos is neither destructive nor undesirable. It is a nest of elements ready to be creatively re-imagined and re-integrated. Chaos is possibility. Creative people are those who can tolerate, work with, and sometimes cause chaos as they facilitate the creative forces in the universe.
About the speaker
Creativity Specialist, artist, writer, speaker, and retired teacher, Niki earned a Ph.D. in Creativity from The Ohio State University. She is the author of Teaching Difficult Students: Blue Jays in the Classroom (Roman & Littlefield), Create, and professional articles about creativity. She has been featured in several publications and won awards for her poetry. Niki also volunteers as an art therapist at the Homeless Family Foundation’s Dowd Center. She is married and the mother of two adult daughters and a deceased son.
