About the speaker
What started as an effort to raise funds for a member adopting a young boy from South Korea turned into Omaha Street Percussion. The guys knew each other through a variety of drum activities and began to notice there was a high level of interest in their performances. That’s when they decided to make the group more formal.
OSP has performed more than 300 local and regional shows, including festivals, corporate events, school assemblies and the occasional street corner performance. In addition, OSP hosts educational programs and workshops at schools and a summer drum camp that enrolled 85 students this year.
