About the speaker
¡Hola amigos! Meet Rocío Egío, food illustrator and creative cheerleader.
After completing her architecture studies, she moved from Alicante to Switzerland to spice up her career path. Deep down, she always knew she didn't want to be an architect, and decided to give her artistic skills a try.
She began her creative journey in 2019 when she founded el Studio, where she art directs and executes illustration and design projects for foodie clients worldwide.
However, once "el Studio" was up and running, she realised it wasn't enough to satisfy her artistic hunger. She had an urge to work more with her hands, to play and experiment beyond the screen, with different formats, materials, and tools where she could inject her dose of enthusiasm and joy. That's how "la Shop" became her artistic playground.
While "el Studio" and "la Shop" allowed her to experiment and evolve as an artist, every time Rocío participated or spoke at a design festival or institution, she had that feeling of wanting more. That led her to her decision to create her own courses and methodology to satisfy her desire to share, connect, and inspire other artists. In "la School", she guides aspiring artists on their Creative Journey so they can also make a living from their Creative Voice and Business.
