What is your strongest truth? This was the question our community had to think about on the icebreaker name tags. Sergiu explored different definitions and facades of truth in education, business, resources, social media, media, relationships and your own truth, intertwined with his personal experiences and stories. In the end, the only truth that matters is yours. A truth based on your beliefs, your values, on the moment, on the things that bring results on your truth. Truth is never in the middle. The truth belongs to you, to me, to nobody or to both of us.

About the speaker

Sergiu is a Journalism graduate, with a Master’s degree in Advertising and a PhD study in the Football field.

What it’s impossible to miss regarding his professional life is that Sergiu is a man of many hats: he works as a Community Manager in one of the biggest banks in Romania, runs two entrepreneurial businesses on a side and is an ardent supporter of financial education for students in primary school and high school, as he has created and delivered training for more de 2000 students in financial education, for the past 5 years.

Sergiu describes himself as an incurable optimist. ‘’One of my best features is speaking from the heart. And I do that through one of my businesses where I interview people with great stories and through my blog where I post day-to-day silly stories from life.

I believe that if we take life too seriously, we’ll take very little out of life. So I invest my days reminding myself that life is for living, not for worrying.’’
